There are many types of garment steamers, such as hand-held, ordinary and pressure type.
The handheld mini garment steamer is easy to carry, especially suitable for going out, but the air output is small, usually no more than 27g, it is difficult to handle thick clothes, and the service life is short. The air output of an ordinary garment ironer is about 27-32g, which is suitable for processing silk and chemical fiber clothes. If you need to process thick clothes, it needs to be ironed repeatedly. The air output of the pressure type garment ironer is 37-42g, which is suitable for processing heavy clothes.
But what I want to say here is that whether we choose a hand-held garment steamer or a large garment steamer, the heater cannot be ignored.
The quality of the heater is directly related to the performance of the garment steamer. At present, aluminum alloy heaters, all-copper heaters, copper-plastic heaters, and zinc alloy heaters are widely used. The aluminum alloy heater has small thermal efficiency loss, good energy storage effect, fast heat conduction, uniform steam, simple process and low manufacturing cost, but the surface is easy to accumulate scale, and the service life is relatively short. The heating speed of the all-copper heater is fast, the mist output is large and uniform, the service life can reach more than 8 years, and the surface is not easy to scale, and it is easy to clean and maintain, but the price is high. Although copper-plastic heaters and zinc alloy heaters are cheap, they have a short service life, slow heat conduction, and uneven steam.
